Being a Verizon customer has been quite eventful, huh? Not only did the network deny its customers the popular HTC One, but when all the other carriers released the Samsung Galaxy S 4, Verizon had only announced pre-orders and a release date that was over a month away. Luckily, Verizon pushed that release date forward a week, and today is the day it comes out!
The Samsung Galaxy S 4 has a blazing fast 1.9GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 5 inch 1080p HD Super AMOLED display with really thin bezels, a beefy 2,600 mAh battery, a 13MP camera, and of course the newest version of Android, Jelly Bean 4.2.2. It really is a beast of a device. The Verizon model also includes 16GB of memory, around 9 of which are user accessible. It has a microSD slot, but remember, apps and Play Store content can only reside on internal memory.
Verizon is now offering both the Black Mist and White frost models for $199.99 with a new two year contract, or you can buy it full price and save that unlimited data plan for a measly $649.99. If you want a tiny sale and are willing to wait for shipping, Amazon has the Galaxy S 4 for only $179.99 for both upgrades and new accounts (also in black!). If you’re going to get one, tell us what color!
