The white Nexus 4 is a sort of Bigfoot lately, showing up randomly and rarely with absolutely no info. We saw it months ago, yet until recently, we haven’t heard a thing about its release or even existence. What if those leaked photos from multiple sources were all fakes, custom back plates? We honestly didn’t know. But lately, information has been slowly flowing in.
The biggest piece of information we got was that the white Nexus 4 would become available on June 10th, along with Android 4.3. Hot off the heels of Google I/O 2013, new info was released that never made it into the keynote. It wasn’t official or confirmed, but it gave legitimacy to previous leaks. Also, a video was released of the white model at a Qualcomm booth, further proving that the device existed.
Now leaks have reached the next step: these are allegedly real press images for the device. The model number for this device is E960W, slightly different from the original’s E960, but proves the only change was color. The person who leaked these photos said that there was no 32GB option for the white Nexus 4. So far, it seems that there will be no mid-year hardware refresh for us.
No release date was given with this leak, so we don’t know what to expect. I guess we just wait for June 10th and see where that takes us. Look below for more photos of the device, and tell us, does the white model look better than the black?
