The Vine app for Android may have its fair share of problems, but one of the biggest ones may be that it doesn’t have a limit for cache. This means, with use, cache will build up and never be deleted. For some, this may be irrelevant. But for those who use the app a lot, this may mean over a gigabyte worth of cache. And on a 16GB phone, that’s probably a tenth of your memory.
There is no real fix, but there is a temporary solution. Just go into Settings > Applications, find Vine, and wipe its cache. And while you’re at it, tell us how much cache the app built up. We’re genuinely interested how bad it can get.
Hopefully the developers will update the app to fix this. In fact, we’re hoping they’ll fix the app up in general. It isn’t horrible by any means, but it needs a bit of work (evident by the 2.9 star rating in the Play Store). Tell us, how big is your cache?
