Deal: NOOK HD And HD+ Down To $129 And $149 For Father’s Day

An incredible deal is going on right now courtesy of Barnes & Noble. The NOOK line of Android tablets hasn’t been so popular, but the specs on them is pretty damn impressive. On top of that, they are fairly well priced and recently got Google Play support, unlike the Amazon Kindle line. The only real downside is the skinned UI, but with the Play Store, that can probably be fixed up quick. So what could be better?

Barnes & Noble has deeply cut the prices on the devices, making them incredibly cheap for Father’s Day. The 7 inch NOOK HD is down from $199 to just $129. For this money, you get a super high resolution 1400×900 7 inch display, a nice dual core OMAP 4470 processor, and 8GB of storage expandable with a microSD slot. The 16GB model is also available for only $149.

The NOOK HD+ deal is even more incredible. It comes with 16GB of memory, also with a microSD slot, and a 9 inch 1920×1280 display. And for that crazy display, you only need to pay $149. The bump to 32GB is also only $179.

Hit the source links or head to your local Barnes & Noble to pick one of these devices up. For the price, they really can’t be beat. What do you think of this massive sale? Will you buy one? Leave a comment!
