Google Puts Android 4.2 Keyboard On The Play Store For All Devices ICS And Above

Whenever a new version of Android would come out, people would try to hack the new keyboard onto their devices. I remember running the Gingerbread keyboard hacked onto my Galaxy S. People even put the keyboard on the market, often charging money for Google’s code with some modifications. We’re sure Google wasn’t too happy about that. But now, Google has officially put their Android 4.2 keyboard on the Play Store!

This keyboard will work on any device that runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and up, and is absolutely free, so there is no reason not to try it out! Android 4.2′s keyboard is pretty fantastic, complete with swiping, and it’s amazing that Google is offering this as an option to those with skinned phones where the manufacturer ripped out the stock keyboard and replaced it with their own (crappy) version.

Looking at recent trends, Google is uploading all of their apps to the Play Store for everyone to use. We like this trend. Hit the source link and start downloading. What app would you like to see Google upload next? Leave a comment!
