For a while now, the HTC M4 has kind of fallen off the radar in terms of leaks. But now it’s back in full force as Estonian site, Delfi.ee, has leaked a whole bunch of photos as well as some specs of the M4. Basically what we’re seeing is an HTC One Mini with specs that are slightly bumped down and a plastic design rather than an aluminum unibody.
Looking at the specs we’re getting a 4.3″ 720p display, dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, and a 4-megapixel Ultrapixel camera. Judging from the shots, the M4 also looks to have the dual front-facing speakers for BoomSound. On the software side of things, the phone is said to run Android 4.2.2 with HTC’s Sense 5 skin over top of it. They speculate that the phone will launch in August for €400 or about $523.
So now that we’ve seen the M4, we can clearly say that it’s going to be a worthy competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Mini. Especially if the display is a 4.3″ 720p display which will certainly be sharper than the qHD display used on the S4 Mini. What do you think of the M4? Can it compete with the S4 Mini?
