Back when Samsung released the first phablet, the Galaxy Note, people didn’t think that the fad would take off. Now the Galaxy Note brand has grown into a massive family of successful devices. The latest upcoming device in the family is the Galaxy Note III and SamMobile and TechTastic have been the first to get their hands on a prototype model. The device appears to be quite large and has thinner bezels around the edges of the screen. For a button layout, we’re seeing a typical Samsung style with a physical home button that’s flanked by a menu button and back button.
Some specs were also leaked with the Galaxy Note III reported to have a 5.99″ 1080p Super AMOLED display, 13-megapixel camera, Snapdragon 800 processor or octa-core Exynos processor, Android 4.2.2 or 4.3, an S Pen, and Samsung’s TouchWiz User Interface atop of it all. The device has a rumored launch at IFA 2013 in Berlin which is a long ways off in September. I know that at leas some of you are planning to buy this when it’s released so give us a shout in the comments if you’re one of those people!
