Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom Gets Shown Off In The Wild In New Photos

Galaxy S4 Zoom

Last Friday, we saw our first photo of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom thanks to SamMobile leaking a product shot. Now TechTastic has leaked some photos of the device out in the wild and luckily, they’re pretty nice looking. From what we can see, the S4 Zoom looks a lot like the Galaxy S4 Mini on the front but then has some major changes when you get around to the sides and back. It has a large lens on the back which is said to have some amount of optical zoom and that will be paired with a 16-megapixel sensor inside the phone. It seems to have a slight curve for your fingers to wrap around so that you can better hold the device when taking photos. Going along with that, there’s now a dedicated shutter button with the volume rocker on the right side presumably acting as a zoom control as well. On the left side, we can see what appears to be a tripod mount for setting the camera on a tripod which is quite a useful feature.

If you need a quick specs refresher, the S4 Zoom is said to pack a 4.3″ qHD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 8GB storage, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a GPS. Software-wise, it will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI over top so it should be familiar interface. What do you guys think of the Galaxy S4 Zoom? Would you buy it?
