Verizon currently doesn't advertise their Rezound as a global roaming capable phone, but it looks to be that the phone has all the necessary components. As we have seen in the past, all it takes to fix a root/jailbreak situation is a software update. That happened with the latest bit of maintenance that released for the Transformer Prime by ASUS. Its been proven that Android isn't the most secure mobile operating system, and the National Security Agency felt they should step in. They have just released a version of Android known as "Security Enhanced Android" and it aims to fill in some of the loopholes that can make Android vulnerable. Users of the Motorola Milestone (GSM variant of the original Droid) should get excited, as CyanogenMod 9 has just been ported to the device. HTC stated that they're unlocking the bootloaders on all of their new phones, but they have now decided to unlock some of the older ones to.
