Sprint and HTC Giving Away Official TPU Cases Along with the EVO 4G LTE and a ‘Sorry’ Letter
An interesting piece of mobile software news this morning as The Verge reported late last night that the newly open-sourced Enyo team is moving from HP to Google. If you're not familiar with Enyo, it is the core HTML framework that made up the backbone of the HP TouchPad and was later made open-source when HP nixed the webOS line of products. More... The latest rumor about the Nexus family is that Google and ASUS will be shipping a tablet next month. This goes against the rumor that they will release 5 devices on November 5th to celebrate Android's 5th anniversary, which I honestly enjoy very much. But it could very well be true. This ASUS Nexus tablet that has been rumored for a long time is currently... Read more »
Looks like the Play Store is maturing more and more. Google just enabled subscription purchases in Play apps. A year ago, they launched in-app purchases, and this adds even more flexibility and freedom for developers. This system can be used for magazines and games, among other things. Frontline Commando, one of my favorite Android games, actually uses this... Read more »
Since the launch of Google+ Android enthusiasts and social networking junkies alike were excited to join what promised to be the next great thing in social networking platforms. The Android app has been sufficient, but still a little lackluster and clunky. A couple of weeks ago iOS users got an update to their Google+ app that left us feeling forgotten and maybe... Google Maps has always been the magical service that allows people to stalk find specific addresses and proceed to see them in street view. Seeing one of Google's photo-taking Street View cars isn't exactly a rarity these days, but how dangerous is driving one of the vehicles? The car above was spotted, and it's not in too good of shape. We just hope no one was... Read more »
Today, the jury unanimously decided that Android does not infringe on two of Oracle's patents. This is great news for Android, as Google wouldn't have to pay royalty fees just because Oracle unfairly sued them. Android, though a free OS, already comes with a ton of royalty fees for manufacturers. It saddens me to see manufacturers have to pay other companies to use... Read more »
Following a rumor that Google would release 5 different Nexus devices (possibly both tablets and phones) by a whole slew of different manufacturers, we have a new rumor going around. This one states that all 5 devices will be released on November 5th, which marks the 5th anniversary of Android. Seems a bit crazy, but makes sense. And Google could easily pull it... Read more »
As the last remaining hurdle came down in the last few days, Google announces this morning they have completed their acquisition of Motorola Mobility. That's all she wrote for Motorola's 80 year history including one of my favorite cellphones of all time, the V60 flip phone. With blessings from Europe, US and finally China, the Internet giant has completed it's... Read more »

Both colors will be unlocked and have 16GB's of on-board storage accompanied with the fastest mobile processor currently available, the new Quad-Core Exynos by Samsung themselves. There... And finally, the wait may soon be over for Sprint customers. If you haven't been up to date this past week or so, Apple filed an injunction that halted large shipments of the HTC's One series of phones, which of course includes Sprint's Evo 4G LTE. They have been stuck at US customs for the time being, and today they have finally passed and are now in Sprints... Read more »
