Sprint and HTC Giving Away Official TPU Cases Along with the EVO 4G LTE and a ‘Sorry’ Letter

Motorola's XOOM has been a tablet of many tests, being one of the first to receive new versions of Android. We now have word that a new soak test is being prepared to send out to owners. We know that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has already been released to the UK-based carriers as of last week, but obviously the carriers need to do their testing so that they can release the update to the awaiting owners. The HTC Vivid was the first device in the US to officially receive the update to Ice Cream Sandwich today, but AT&T isn't stopping there. They have now stated that they will bring the coveted update to 10 more devices. Google's popular voice service Google Voice has a new update available, bringing some useful features and integration to the app. For devices running Android 4.0, it now integrates directly to the native dialer app. Voicemails can now be played directly through the dialer app, much like the native feature. Late last year, we had heard that Samsung planned on rolling out the update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to their Galaxy Note device sometime within the first quarter of 2012. Motorola has already said they will be updating the international version of the RAZR to Ice Cream Sandwich in Q2, but that isn't stopping them from updating the handset to a newer version of Gingerbread in the meantime.
