Samsung SCH-W999 announced

It’s not everyday we see a new flip phone announced, especially one that’s also a smartphone. Featuring two 3.5″ Super AMOLED screens and a dual-core processor, it isn’t a low-end phone either. The specs include two 800×480 Super AMOLED panels, Android 2.3 with TouchWiz over it, a 5MP camera, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 dual-core processor, and dual SIM card… Read more

Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Verizon found in the wild, still can’t be bought

While we don’t imagine that a Samsung store in New York City will necessarily get in trouble for showing off a phone that doesn’t have an exact (or even general) official launch date from Verizon, it’s still interesting to see the device out for show, so everyone can see. It isn’t surprising that Verizon would want someone to show it off, though. And that’s… Read more

Apple’s request for ban on Samsung Galaxy phone and tablet sales was rejected by U.S. judge

They succeeded in getting the Galaxy Tab 10.1 banned in Germany and Australia, and even forced Samsung to redesign the Tab 10.1. Even after the redesign they still… Read more

In fact, up until now, we haven’t seen any kind of docks for that dock connector on the side of the device. But thanks… Read more

Samsung Galaxy Nexus for AT&T passes through the FCC

While we would love to say that we know AT&T is getting ready to launch the Galaxy Nexus from Samsung, we really can’t. Sure, it’s great news that the FCC has allowed the device to pass through its gauntlet, it doesn’t necessarily mean that AT&T is getting ready to launch it. In fact, we know that Verizon has an exclusive on the Galaxy Nexus here in the… Read more

Carrier IQ, a name that will live in infamy, hasn’t heard or seen the end of the bad luck train. As of this morning, much has developed in the big-brother scandal. First, Senator Al Franken (D-Minn) issued two separate letters to Carrier IQ, HTC, Samsung, Sprint, and AT&T to ask for responses to some pointed questions by December 14th. If that wasn’t… Read more
