December comScore Numbers Show Android Still On Top (Obviously)

The December 3 month period comScore numbers and in, and it’s more of the same thing. In the software part of it, Android rose 0.9 points to 53.4%, while iOS rose a whole 2 points to 36.3%. The statistics for the three month period ending in November were released today by comScore. While nothing much has changed, the gap between the duopoly of Samsung and Apple and the other three in the top five is growing fast. Nothing has really changed here. Android is still on top, with a 1.4 boost since April. It is now in the lead at 52.2% of market share in the US. Apple is at second, with 33.4%.
