“All operator versions” of the Galaxy S to see Froyo by end of Nov [UPDATE]
Begin update: It's as we may have feared, but hoped it wouldn't be. Samsung has said via Twitter that their Tweet, which was essentially the same thing as the press release, pertains only to devices in the UK. As I said earlier though, it's still a good sign for Galaxy S devices in the US. End update. Before you go and get too excited on what the... Samsung's Galaxy Tab is in the middle of a very drawn out launch. We've had conferences, advertisements, parties, leaks, and announcements, but the dang thing has yet to be sold. Perhaps Samsung and the retailers who'll be carrying the tablet wanted to use the time to pick a price point based on media and public reception. It seems that the reception has been... Is it just us, or is Canada gobbling up as many Android-based devices as they can get? Well, chalk up the Samsung Galaxy as the next in line, as it's been confirmed that the Canadian wireless network will be picking it up some time in March. Or at least within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just in case you might've forgotten, the Galaxy is running a 3.2-inch 320x480... Read more » Rumor: Samsung Galaxy staying at 1.5
Patience is a virtue. Sometimes. There's quite a few handsets out there waiting to get their fair share of the Android 2.1 goodness. But all of that pales in comparison to this latest rumor, slipped out of Mobile... Read more » Samsung Galaxy Spica

Samsung will sell the device as a multimedia and social networking phone, something we don't really need more of but is in high demand. The full specs are as follows: Android 1.5 Band: GSM/EDGE... 2009 was a wonderful year for the Android mobile operating system. We saw many good looking devices hit the market and hit them hard. With tech sites finally understanding what Android was made of, the little endeavor by Google made a splash with 1.5 and above. Softpedia - a software download and news site - decided to take the first shots at naming their top... Read more » Samsung Galaxy Lite / i5700 / Spica

I don't want to type too much here because I don't think anything should be added to - or taken away from - what Thomas Ricker wrote over at Engadget. I think that this was filmed in his city and that he knows what's being... Read more » Is this the Galaxy Lite?
We can't be 100% on this, but FCC filings and the detective work of many-a-blogger seem to nail this thing down as the GT-I5700. That's a cheaper version of the I-7500, which O2 is hawking for a pretty penny. I still have my eyes on the white Galaxy, but that might not be in the cards for me - credit cards, that... O2 has gotten creative with the pricing of Samsung's GT-i7500, better known as Galaxy. The device is now available in the cellular carrier's online store and as you can see that it runs "Free to £244.67." The high end of that works out - at the time of this posting - to just under $400 USD. According to Tech Radar, getting the phone for nothing up front means 40... Read more »
