You know that killer, Sense-powered sister to the Nexus One that has been confirmed by virtually every carrier across the pond but not by a one over here? I’m talking about Desire, and that it does inspire. Had I the time or the sign of an inkling, I’d write a poem for that twinkling screen upon which my fingers (multiple, true) could dance and twirl and bring such joy to my eyes and uh… What was I saying? Oh, that it probably won’t be called Desire when it does launch over here, and that has my source wondering about the validity of the following claims. Then again, the people he’s talking to might understand the connection and could just be using the more widely accepted brand. Who knows?
Andrew Kameka over at Androinica has word that T-Mobile managers around the country have been briefed on, and spent some hands on time with, a large touch screen Android phone. Andrew did what he could to check multiple sources. He’s classifying it as a rumor, but it is tantalizing, No? That’s the kind of news that leads to re-upping when a man is almost out of contract!

People have been clamoring for more information on HTC’s planned Androids for 2010 ever since the namedropping and roadmap leak of December. From countless mentions and burry shots to (likely phony) screengrabs, the dominant Android OEM is consistently the focus of some buzz or leak. Maybe a few folks have been repremanded or lost their jobs as of late, because this leaker goes the extra mile in protecting their identity…

SlashGear recently got their hands on HTC’s follw-up to the Hero, Legend, and you can check out a slew of images of the two devices sitting next to one another over at their site. As a fan of the original design, I have to say that I think Legend is incredibly sexy. Had it the specs of the hotly anticipated Bravo (Desire) I’m not sure I could choose between the two, given the option. Unfortunately, I won’t be burdened with making that choice any time soon.

Here we go again, another photoshoot of the upcoming HTC Incredible, aimed to release on Verizon Wireless later this year. We’ll keep this one brief, as we figure by now you’ve got the important stuff memorized, right? All right, all right, we’ll go over it one more time: 3.7-inch WVGA, AMOLED display; 512MB ROM/256MB RAM; 5MP camera with dual-LED flash; 2.1 with Sense UI atop; and finally that 1GHz Snapdragon processor under the hood. Basically, this is the Nexus One, but Sense UI-infused. So for all of you waiting for the N1 to make an appearance on the Big Red network, keep your eyes open for this as well. According to Mr. Devdroidian, who made an appearance at Ignite Dallas, the device is still rocking that red cover we spied a few weeks back, and may also be delayed until May. Word is though, that it’s still planned to be officially unveiled at CTIA this month. This wasn’t all that brief at all, was it? Well, at least you’re informed. That’s the important part. More images after the break.

Many Verizon customers read – with giddy excitement – yesterday’s news that Android 2.1 dumps for both the Droid and Eris have been leaked to xda-developers. We saw video evidence of the bump at work on the Droid a few days ago, but this is the first (that I’ve seen anyway) of the upgrade on Eris. Q2 is still the projected dats for a public release, folks, but at least we know it’s out there. Check the video after the break:
