Lenovo is releasing another mid-range Android phone, known as the LePhone S2. This probably shouldn't come as a shock to anyone, but it looks like the major players in the tablet race are looking to 2012 to unveil their first quad-core tablets. As Samsung teases a 7.7-inch tablet, it looks like Lenovo is aiming a bit smaller. Lenovo said at the tail-end of last year that they weren't planning on getting into the Android-powered tablet game until Honeycomb was out and about, ready to rock and roll. Not too long ago, Lenovo COO Rory Reid went on record saying that he doesn't expect the world's 4th largets PC manufacturer to release an Android tablet in the US until Honeycomb was ready for prime time.
