myTouch 3G 1.2 and Fender edition to see Froyo
It's been nearly a month since the rollout of Froyo 2.2 for the original myTouch was completed, and since everything has gone smoothly enough, T-Mobile will now be moving on and pushing the update to the myTouch 1.2 (or 3.5mm headphone jack edition) and the myTouch Fender LE. While T-mobile has been getting ready for the new MyTouch 3G 1.2 (just a MT3G with a little more RAM and a 3.5mm jack), by doing things like lowering the price of the original MyTouch to $99, more and more news keeps coming to the surface about this mysterious device. Where have I been? I'm up to speed on the Fender LE T-Mo is promoting via Eric Clapton, and I was aware of the phone months in advance. Then along comes this "version 1.2" of the phone, which returns to the original MT3G's looks but packs a 3.5mm audio jack and possibly the new model's increased RAM. This is getting confusing. 1.2?
