The official Samsung Galaxy SIII accessories received a little attention, each getting their own small video demoing them. Unfortunately, it seems that they didn't have an actual Galaxy SIII to show how they work, but it's nice to get a look at the accessories nonetheless. First accessory is the Samsung C-Pen. The first thing that comes to mind is of course the... Read more »
Well, what have we here? The boys at PocketNow have acquired what they believe are the first test shots for the respective Galaxy S III carrier units. There's nothing here you can print and frame, but there is at least one picture per carrier, including the SGH-T999 for T-Mobile, SCH-i535 for Verizon, SPH-L710 for Sprint and SGH-i747 for... The boys at GSMArena, whom we are slightly envious of now just finished their first go at testing battery life on the Galaxy S III. With a huge 2100mAh battery, there has been plenty of question how that will hold up powering a 4.8" Super AMOLED display. With 3G talk time, the Galaxy S III put up some pretty amazing scores, surviving for a whopping 10... Read more »

When the Galaxy SIII was announced, many were disappointed that the Super AMOLED HD screen being used was still using the PenTile matrix layout. However, it may actually be a very good thing. Samsung has stated that AMOLED screens using the PenTile matrix last longer than AMOLED screens using the standard RGB stripe layout. With AMOLED technology, the blue... Read more »
Samsung has just revealed in am email that they have purchased leading mobile cloud content service provider mSpot Inc. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is, in my humble opinion, the best budget tablet on the market. At $250, it may be more expensive than both the Nook Tablet and the Kindle Fire by a whole $50, but that $50 makes a world of a difference. You get GPS, dual cameras, Bluetooth, a microSD slot, double the RAM, Google Play Store, and most importantly, the full Android 4.0... Read more »
Samsung's Ryan Bidan has stated today that the Galaxy SII Skyrocket HD, announced at CES for AT&T, has been cancelled. He explained that with the Galaxy SIII announcement, it would leave the phone "orphaned" in AT&T's lineup. He has a point too; why would anyone buy a Galaxy SII with a 720p screen if they can soon get a Galaxy SIII with the same screen but... Read more »
