Hero's Trim feature

I really think the trim to make a ringtone feature in Hero's music player is awesome....if it worked. No matter what after setting the trimmed music to ringtone it wont stay as a ringtone. I try saving the scene, setting it to different contacts, it just always is gone after 5 mins. I am not expecting to get a fix but is anyone else expieriencing the same problems. Probably software on HTC's side

I just use ringdroid. I know that doesn't help with your problem, but that's how I get around it.

Yeah many people are having this problem , but I like ringdroid its easier for setting the length that is why I don't care about the trimmer .

i have not used any of those apps as i make my ringtones on the PC

however i know a couple of guys that swear by this app .... i have since downloaded it and going to give it a try ..... im almost certain its less hastle than doing it on the PC anyway .... so for mp3 ringtone making i would say yeah try out ringdroid

yeah i have been using that from the get go, just didnt think i should have to with the hero having this feature, oh well :(
