I have had my motorola droid for a wee now and overall, I am pleased. One problem that I am having is that when I power off the phone at night, the battery drains more quickly than it would if it was on. Last night I turned it off with 70% battery and when I woke up, it was down to 10%. s anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know a solution?
Your actually turning the device off, or just turning the screen off? If you just turn the screen off you will still have many processes running in the background draining your battery

Are you in an area where you have bad reception? Like a basement for example? Cause if your phone is constantly getting a bad reception and switching back and forth between EVDO and 1X, this will definitely put a drain on the battery.
