Eris MMS issues

For some reason, MMS messages that I'm getting on my Eris aren't in the proper format, ie video messages show up as still images. Can anybody tell me why this is happening? Anything I can do to fix this problem?

Yeah, I'm having the same issue with the Droid. I tried looking for an app but wasn't able to find one that worked.

Personally, that sounds as if that would be a carrier problem. You are paying for MMS and SMS messaging, and you should be able to use these features, and have them working flawlessly. I would contact your phone provider about this issue, and ask for a solution to this problem. If that doesn't work, it could be an internal error and you should or can try to reset your device back to default settings. As I stated, try contacting your carrier first and then try this...
