I have a motorola droid, (newest software update,) and when i use the standard messaging app that came with the phone (little green talkbox) some of my contacts dont appear in the drop down menu when i begin to type a name into the "to" box. the contacts are definitely in my contact list, and they have normal telephone numbers, and i can text them from their actual contact pages. weird. its like the two applications are pulling from two separate contact databases or something. anyone else have this problem? any suggestions on how to fix. I've had this problem ever since i got the phone.
