Hi all...

I've already posted this at one Android forum with no result, so let me try it here.

I'm a pretty competent techie but a relative newbie to the Android platform. I've Googled and searched various forums, but have yet to see a reference to this issue.

I've got a Motorola Backflip. When I played music today through my bluetooth stereo headset (Jabra 620s), the playback sounded like it was slightly sped up. I thought maybe I was imagining things, so I timed it with a stopwatch. Sure enough, a 4:17 song played back in 3:54. I played the same song back through wired headsets and external speakers, and the playback speed was fine. I've also duplicated this problem on my daughter's Backflip phone.

Has anyone even heard of such a problem, let alone know how to fix it?
Thanks!

When I have had issues with the music player and bluetooth on my Backflip it was usually due to other apps. It seems liek every time I install a music player to try it somehow messes up the bluetooth.

The only thing that I have found to fix it is a reset:

Menu->Settings->Sd card & storage->factory data reset

If you do the reset try the bluetooth with no other apps installed, if you still have a problem you nedd to call AT&T or Motorola to see about a replacement.

Note: Motoblur will restore your contacts and most of your settings after the reset. Any other accounts (gmail, FB) will sync their content as you add them. Make sure you know the correct e-mail and password you used to set up MotoBlur.

You will have to go into the market and re-install your apps. You will not be charged for paid apps and they will show up anytime you go into the MY downloads section of the market. Free apps you have installed will show up the first time you go into the market after the reset. (some report longer, but this has been my experience)
