I don't even have a phone yet, I'm looking at pre-ordering the Incredible. I have a Google Voice account and I'm curious if you can text with that and avoid paying for text messages through Verizon? Not really sure how that works or integrates into the phone though, is this possible?

Google Voice integrates with the phone nicely. You can send and receive SMS (not MMS), make calls with your GV number, and even use your GV account as your primary voicemail inbox.

The app comes pre-installed on the phone, but you can check out the Market listing here (http://apps.doubletwist.com/Google-Voice/7324970228540505640).

That is good to know.. So I'm curious what happens if I only tell people my GV number and someone tries to send me a picture or video? Does that still get routed to my phone like normal so I can at least see what people send me?
