Ok so i bought an unlocked T-Mobile G1 on ebay. The phone works with no problems but when i wanted to upgrade it to a newer version i looked at my phone to see which version i already had and found that i had version 1.5. but what im confused about is this:
Model Number: HTC Dream
Firmware version: 1.5
Baseband version: 62.525.20.18U_3.22.20.17
Kernel version: kernel version 2.6.27-9af60ed4u70000@android-x01 )
Build number: 1.86.73.4.4 146733 CL#47553 release-keys
Normal T-Mobile G1s dont show that. My phone is branded T-Mobile but the start up screen shows the phone company Orange. Im using the phone on AT&T. So i want to know why my phone is like this and if there is a way for me to upgrade my phone to a newer version.
