One of the number one question for new users is how to transfer files from your computer to your Android. Properly stated, you need to Mount(no frisky business)your Android to your computer. Ultimately realizing that you are connecting the SD Card and not the phone to your Computer. Instructions are as follows:
Connect your Android via USB to your computer. In the top left corner of your G1Android screen you will see a USB symbol. Pull down your notifications shade and then select USB Connected and then select Mount. Auto play popup will display on your computer and select Open folder to view files. Then it is pretty much drag and drop from there.
