Ubuntu !

Hey !

does anyone know how to fix permissions for ubuntu so when i mount my SD i can see my ext3 partition so i can make a back up of that badboy before i reformat it

Here, i dont know if this will work
But Hit alt+F2. Type
sudo nautilus and hit Run in Terminal
Then it will ask you for your password, enter that in and Nautilus will start up in root user. Then just navigate around and see if that works!

Oh, and do not exit out of the terminal, until your done or you will exit out ot that window too.

i certainly will give this a try ... thank you !

however i do not have a password set for ubuntu , i run it from a LiveCD
