Update Your Hero!

So i decided to install the official leaked hero update 2.73.405.5. I have heard this really fixes some of the lag, especially in the home screen. The Hero's home screen was never that slow (unless you had 6 widgets running at once) but this update made it lightning quick, and i mean the fastest i have seen across any platform. Previous to this update i would have said the iPhone had the quickest smoothest screen but i think the hero takes it (and the hero has widgets :) ). This is really the best update in terms of software bug fixes i have seen so for from Android and anyone who has a hero (or rooted phone) i strongly suggest installing this. Features to expect with new Official Hero Rom (that i have found)

-Overall speedy UI, probably triple as fast
-NO home screen lag whatsoever
-loading sms messages (says loading now instead of just sitting there) are very snappy, maybe
1-2 seconds.
-new options when recieve a phone call, in addition to send and end you can also choose to send caller a message
-GTalk does not have those unexpected sign offs
-Camera is a lot better (for some reason), and allows spot focus by touching any area of the screen
-WiFi status now shows correct number of bars
-battery significantly improved and no overheating at all :)
-Smiley list is higher res with smaller pics for less scrolling
-scrolling much fast across the UI
-phone rings right away, no LAG!
-improved charging time

Oh and forgot, when adding facebook account, its no longer necessary to go into contacts and manually link to facebook, it does it automatically. This is a huge plus for me since i have 940 contacts in my phonebook

yeah get at me anytime, its like a totally different expieriece with all the fixes :)
